Junior Church

Dear Friends,

Our Junior Church is small and doesn’t always meet.  In order to make sure that there are people available to take children, if they appear on a Sunday morning, we have a rota.  Currently, it is difficult to maintain because there are not many volunteers and preparing for a lesson when children don’t appear can be disheartening.  For that reason, we are planning to have a resources cupboard with plenty of activities available for those leading Junior Church when children do come.

In order to make this work, we do need more volunteers.  You will never have to take children alone.  You don’t have to have done anything like this before as we will show you know how it works.  You don’t have to be a particular age or gender either!   The more who offer the better it will be – as you join, and help reform, a team of committed volunteers.
